Southampton is a city rich in heritage from its time as a Roman seaport to today's modern, bustling, vibrant cosmopolitan city.

 

Its port is one of the UK's busiest ports and is widely recognised as the capital of the cruise industry. Southampton is also the number-one car-handling port in the UK, home to the country's second largest container terminal and is the sole UK port for all Canary Islands fresh-produce imports.

With the Isle of Wight to Port, Reel Estate will now be well into the Solent cruising grounds and Southampton only a short hop away. Nick will be on alert for ferries and numerous other
pleasure boats in these busy waters. Southampton’s River Hamble will provide refuge and a well earned break to re-stock the larder and carry out any routine maintenance.
