Poole is a large English coastal town, situated on the shores of the English Channel in the county of Dorset. Its bustling Quay, England's finest blue flag beaches and the second largest natural harbour in the world make Poole a natural first choice on the South Coast.

The harbour contains Brownsea Island, the location of Baden Powell’s first Scout Camp in 1907 and now boasts a beautiful nature reserve and ruined castle.

Leaving Southampton water and into the Solent, Nick will be hoping to catch a glimpse of the Needles before setting west. During this leg of the trip, Nick will pass Christchurch and
Bournemouth to starboard before entering Poole harbour and on into the Quay. The Sunseeker boatyard is just beyond, giving Nick the opportunity to call in and check out their latest offerings.
