The world famous white cliffs, which have for centuries played a key role in our history as Britain’s ‘frontline’ now provide a welcoming sight for many millions of people as they enter the thriving Channel Port.

Many visitors rush through Dover on their way to and from the continent, but it is well worth staying to explore the area's wealth of history, scenic walks and areas of outstanding natural beauty.

With more than three quarters of the journey completed, a long leg to Dover will see the chart plotter getting ready for another change of direction as Nick turns east for the push towards home.
The white cliffs will provide the most visible of waypoints making the entrance to Dover straightforward. The marina is one of the largest in the UK so should be easy to find!
