Bangor lies on the east coast of Northern Ireland to the south of Belfast Lough.
It is a popular seaside town that has for many years been the leading tourist attraction
of the area whether it is for a day trip, a long weekend or a longer stay.
The Belfast-Holywood-Bangor railway makes the town easily accessible from Belfast,
with Bangor providing some welcome peace after the bustle of the city.
Nick wll be hoping that the Irish Sea remains passive for the leg from Douglas, Isle of Man to Bangor in Northern Ireland.
The arrival into Bangor could be a challenge due to the ferry traffic.
However, once welcomed into the marina, Nick has said that as the fishing is purported to be good locally, he will catch his supper. Let’s hope he eats that night, because the trip to Oban awaits.
